We all love hanging out with our dog. We enjoy experiencing life which them. But, we hold ourselves back sometimes. Why?
Maybe we are worried they won't walk well next to us
Perhaps we think they won't be polite to the people we meet
We could be concerned how they might act around other dogs
We might feel embarrassed. We may not know where to start with helping them learn
If you don't feel comfortable taking your dog in public, we can help
We want you to get to a place with your dog that you aren't uncomfortable or anxious at the thought of taking them places with you. It feels really good to have a best buddy to experience life with
Saturday night a friend invited me to the fresh air dining they are having in downtown Lafayette on the weekends. I was happy to support local restaurants and see friends in a lower risk way. I said "yes," rather excitedly
Hannah was my plus one Saturday night. We had such an amazing time
As we were getting ready to leave, she looked at me expectantly. I am guessing she thought we were going on a walk, just the two of us
She paused when we got to the car and I opened the door. Of course, she hopped in when I said "up" as she always does. We parked downtown and headed to meet my friends
Hannah greeted several people and made a couple of friends while we were there
There were kids and adults that asked if they could pet her. After I told them they could and gave Hannah permission she approached and let them love on her
Hannah chilled under the table as the staff brought out our drinks and food
She chilled as dogs walked by
She chilled as people walked around
Hannah got lots of love and enjoyed being outside
The brewey we sat outside of had an awesome AstroTurf for the picnic tables to sit on. It made me happy because it was comfortable for the dogs to chill on
I felt refreshed after getting some "normal" time. I had a couple of new tasty beers I haven't tried before
I laughed and shared a lovely evening with friends. I enjoyed the fresh air
I enjoyed an evening out with my dog by my side
You can enjoy life with your dog, too.
